Record Attendance and Link to Payroll
In 1999 Nestle installed Advance Systems’ time and attendance system (TMS) to replace their previous, outdated DOS-based system. They required a system to record not only the time and attendance of their employees but also a system that could be linked to their payroll.
Manage Absenteeism
Subsequently, Fruitfield implemented TMS in 2003. Speed and efficiency were paramount to the company. They required a package that could run reports on the absenteeism, entitlements and check anomalies. With TMS, reports can be easily created to view daily, weekly or monthly absenteeism and can then can be grouped by department or employee. These reports can be tailored to suit each individual company’s requirements.
Security Access Control
There is an access control system on one of the exterior gates to Fruitfield where employees can enter and leave the premises while at the same time the data is captured and recorded into the attendance software. All factory staff have their own individual swipe card which not only tracks the clockings of the particular employee but also allows the company to know who is on site and when. This is essential in the event of a fire evacuation.
The Jacob Fruitfield Food Group was created in August 2004 as a result of the amalgamation of Fruitfield Foods with 475 employees. In late 2005, TMS was installed at the Jacobs site on the Belgard Road.
Mrs Fay, HR Manager, explained the relationship she has with Advance Systems Ireland. “The support team always takes the time to explain, nothing is too much for them.
